The new federal travel ban implemented by the Trump administration on certain countries as of June 9, 2025 comes with “a high degree of uncertainty” around actions and enforcement, University of Massachusetts Amherst officials told the the international school community. They are urging scholars and students to stay put in the U.S., for now.
