CT’s Himes at odds with some Democrats, constituents over surveillance law

To a certain degree, U.S. Rep. Jim Himes is prepared for pushback over a controversial surveillance law whenever it comes up for a reauthorization vote. But the warrantless surveillance program is getting outsized attention this time around, even in Himes’ district in the southwestern corner of Connecticut.
